Concept

This project was designed by Erkan Insaat to provide students with home-like accommodation, where every detail was specifically planned for students. It will consist of two blocks and be built in Basaksehir which is one of the fast developing districts of Istanbul and where the need for a dormitory is considerable.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

  • Central heating system, hot water available 24 hours a day, housekeeping service for floors at regular intervals and for the rooms on daily basis, warm and hygienic living spaces.
  • Security service and surveillance camera system, a safe living space guarded 24 hours a day and days a week, cafeteria serving hygienic and good quality food cooked by a professional hotel kitchen team.
  • A wide and comfortable study hall and library.
  • Television and video room for entertainment at free times.
  • Launderette providing laundry, drying and ironing services at reasonable rates.
