At Erkan İnşaat we see sustainability not merely as environmental responsibility but as a whole approach that guides every one of our processes, from the design of living spaces to the choice of materials, from the use of resources to technology. Bringing more than half a century of experience together with a contemporary architectural understanding and advancing technologies, we design living spaces that exist in harmony with nature, respect the natural fabric, use resources efficiently and hold their value for many years.

We count the protection of natural resources, the efficient use of energy and water, the choice of materials and technologies with their environmental impact in mind, and the reduction and recovery of waste among the essentials of our understanding of sustainability. Acting in accordance with national and international environmental legislation and with the principles of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, we hold to a way of building that watches over the environment and human health, develops continually and carries a responsibility towards the future.

We Carry Our Understanding of Sustainability into Our Projects

We consider our projects not merely as areas to be built on but together with the natural fabric around them. Within our project areas we regard preserving the natural assets already there, and making them part of the living space wherever possible, as an important part of our sustainable architecture. Alongside this, the memorial forest we created on three hectares in Şile gives nature a lasting value and contributes to our aim of leaving a more liveable environment and a greener world for the generations to come.
